Ting is an Obie Award-winning director whose recent credits include Sam Hunter’s A Great Wilderness (Williamstown), Jackie Sibblies Drury’s We Are Proud to Present a Presentation… (Soho Rep/Victory Gardens), Rising Son by Dick Lee (Singapore Rep) and The World of Extreme Happiness (Goodman). Long Wharf Theatre Associate Artistic Director since 2007, Ting is a founding member of the artists’ collective INTELLIGENT BEASTS and a recipient of a 2012 MAP Fund Award with Meiyin Wang. Lien is a designer of sets and environments for theatre, dance and opera. She is artistic associate with Pig Iron Theatre Company and the Civilians, and co- founder of JACK, an art/performance space in Brooklyn. Recent work includes The Oldest Boy (Lincoln Center); An Octoroon (Soho Rep); Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Awards: Lucille Lortel Award, Hewes Design Award, Barrymore Award, NEA/TCG Career Development Program, Obie Award for Sustained Excellence.
